I just wanted to see if there was interest in a GB for the
Mitosis Bluetooth Split Ergonomic Keyboard with acrylic
case.
Fill in the interest form:
https://flashquark.com/mitosis-interest-check/
You can see an album with pics of the board. wireless
receiver, and case:

The Mitosis was made by /u/reverse_bias (Reddit).
It
features an ingenius design where each full keyboard set
uses 4 pcbs- 2 for the actual pcbs of the keyboard, and two
with switch holes broken out to act as the plate.
Both
halves of the board communicate wirelessly over bluetooth
with the receiver which contains a pro micro flashed with
the QMK firmware. The Mitosis firmware has already been
included into the default QMK firmware:
https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/tree/master/keyboards/mitosis
Each half of the keyboard is powered by a CR2032
battery.
I have modified the original PCBs with screw
holes so that the keyboard can be mounted into an acrylic
case which I designed myself.
The open source files for
the modified pcb can be found:
https://github.com/nhou7/mitosis_with_case
I have decided to offer the option for the board to
come fully assembled and firmware flashed due to the fact
that it requires soldering of SMD components as well as
flashing the bluetooth firmware using Linux. If you’ve never
done SMD soldering before, there’s quite a good chance that
something will go wrong such as burning off pcb pads or
soldering things in misaligned/shorted.
What’s
Included:
-Mitosis PCBs
-Receiver PCB
-All
components required for the keyboard and receiver including
pro micro and 3 bluetooth modules
-Acrylic Case
w/standoffs and screws
-46 Switches - Any of the
Gateron, Kailh Speed, or Kailh box switches available at
https://flashquark.com
-3M Rubber Bumpons
-2x CR2032 Batteries
-ST-Linkv2
to flash the bluetooth module firmware
-Assembly of the
entire keyboard
