I’m wondering how many people would be interested in this.
Having recently acquired a KBParadise V60 with Matias (Alps)
switches, some initial research has revealed that generic
60% aluminum cases aren’t a direct / perfect swap for these
boards, because the inclusion of Alps-style switches means
the mounting holes on the PCB are different.
My idea is
to effectively make up a batch of simple, 60% aluminium
cases, similar to ones already on the market, but with the
PCB mounts relocated.
I’ve inquired with one CNC firm
so far that work with aluminium products of a similar size,
to hopefully gauge a price and min. order etc. If this
proves feasible, is it something people would be interested
in?
