B1G_B1RD, who runs switchsmith.co, has offered to produce two limited edition USB Cables & Keyboard
Sleeves to coincide with the SA NASA keycap set (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=86527.0). B1G_B1rd will run a separate
group buy on switchsmith.co for the sleeves and cables that are finalized at the same time as the SA NASA keycap group buy launches, and
intends to complete and ship the ordered sleeves and cables around the same time that Signature Plastics sets the SA NASA keycaps for
shipment. This allows us to offer more cables and sleeves as part of switchsmith.co’s buy, and allows him the time he needs to fulfill those
orders with an achievable ship date to you.
As well, please vote for your largest preferred Sleeve size, your longest preferred USB cable length, and whether you would like to see small,
embroidered NASA Logo and US Flag patches embroidered on to these cases (exact placement and size pending - will be shown in a future IC check).
Regarding the SA NASA Keycap set itself: Another poll is in the making right now, which will give everyone the ability to choose what novelty
keys they like, which colors they like for which keys on the board, and what alternate layouts you would like to see supported. Keep your eyes
peeled for that one soon! I have also reached out to NASA regarding obtaining official permission for the use of their logos. We will continue
forward without their permission if they do not grant it, but we won’t be able to offer the NASA Worm or NASA Meatball logo keys, if that is
the case. I’m hoping we can make this happen with the logos though!

Based on the modified Navy Mark IV, or Mercury space suit, was a modified Navy pressure suit used for all Mercury Program
space flights. including Freedom 7, the first US manned spaceflight.
It is intended that the exterior will feature a metallic silver fabric, to mimic the metallic silver of the Mark IV suit.
The USB Cable features gray heatshrinks, carbon techflex sleeve over gray paracord sleeve.

Based on the Apollo A7L and A7LB, the suit which replaced the previous Apollo A1C suits,
flew on the first manned Apollo space flight (Apollo 7) and continued to serve through all subsequent Apollo flights.
These were the suits worn for all moon landings, Skylab 2-4, and the ASTP Apollo-Soyuz test docking.
The USB Cable features red & blue heatshrinks and white paracord sleeve.

Based on the EMU and Enhanced EMU, these were used for all EVA activity aboard shuttle orbiter
flights starting from Challenger’s first flight (STS-6) until the termination of the shuttle program. The Enhanced EMU
continues to serve as one of the suits used for EVA activities aboard the ISS.
It is intended that the interior liner will be a metallic gold fabric, to mimic the gold shield frequently seen on the EMU helmet.
The USB Cable features red & blue heat shrinks and white para cord sleeve.

Based on the LES S1032 and ACES S1035, the suits used by shuttle orbiter crews from STS-26
until the termination of the shuttle orbiter program, during the launch, ascent and orbital entry portion of a space flight.
A new generation of this suit, known as MACES, is planned to be used for the same purposes on the Orion Project, and
may possibly serve additional purpose in a limited EVA role.
The USB Cable features black heat shrinks, carbon tech flex sleeve over burnt orange para cord sleeve.

Based on the uniform jacket (exterior), shirt (para cord & para cord channel), and jumpsuit (interior lining)
outlined for the Worm Logo era by the 1975 NASA Graphics Standards Manual
The USB Cable features blue heat shrinks, and dodger blue para cord sleeve.

Based on the currently worn jumpsuit/uniform of NASA astronauts.
The USB Cable features black heat shrinks, gray tech flex sleeve over royal blue para cord sleeve.
We have multiple designs planned, based on a number of different flight suits which have graced astronauts over the years.
However, in order to keep things simple, we are asking you to vote for the two, and only two,
USB/Sleeve sets that you like the most.
