Hello everyone! This is Glove Studio,
I designed a
new key cap.
Design Concept
Inspired by the
HX-20 released by Epson in 1981, it is the first portable
computer with a built-in printer.
When I learned about this computer, I found that this
computer is widely loved by some retro illustrators around
the world.
Later, I was lucky to find a very new HX-20
in the second-hand market
When it arrived I couldn’t wait to take the keycaps
off and study them.
I was surprised to find that it was
a double-shot keycap , and the keyboard is a without the top
cap design and soft tactile switch.
A few days ago,Domikey swatched the keycaps color for
me.
i referenced some details on the HX-20 body to
designed the novelty keycaps.
I chose UV silkscreen side engraving in the BASE and
Novel kits ，try to make more details in it to enrich the
visual effects.
