UPDATE 25th of April, 2019
All wasdats have been
shipped to the vendors and to a few people who have entered
through the Google Form. Extras will be available on my
website very soon. Keyhive bought essentially all of the
extras I had, lol.
What is this?
The wasdat is a
drop-in replacement controller board
designed for the WASD V2 TKL & 104-key models which can
be installed without soldering.
It’s
fully programmable using QMK Firmware and programming is
easy. I have tested prototypes and they fully work for ANSI
and ISO models.
All wasdats come preflashed with the
QMK DFU bootloader, which means the capslock led flashes and
you can escape using the ESC key.
It also has the stock
keymap with FN key.
No soldering is required as
everything, including the pin header, is presoldered. The
PCBs will be green like the picture.
Please note:
This controller is designed and confirmed to be
working with the WASD V2 only, NOT the WASD CODE!
There
will be a group buy for the CODE TKL & 104-key
controller later on.
By installing this controller in
your keyboard you are possibly voiding your warranty. Use at
your own risk.
