Hi, Geekhack! We are excited to announce that round 2 of
Z40-Pastry had started. Round 1 GB started on 15th Jul,
finished on 15th Aug, production of R1 starts on 2nd
Aug(most of the orders happened in first half of R1), thx to
full support from factories, we managed to pull off the R1
production way ahead of time, Now, Z40s of R1 is going to be
shipped on 15th Sep. We’d like to shout out a big THANK YOU
for all the trust and support from buyers.
R2 had
already started on 4th Sep, and will end on 4th Oct, lasts a
month. We’ll place the production order according to
situation of sale, lead time is NO MORE THAN 60 days
depending on order quantity and factory schedule.
Upgrades from origin IC of Z40-Pastry
- Keyboard PCB is no longer lowpro switches exclusive, switch compatibility enlarged to compatible with regular MX switch, Kailh V1 & V2, Cherry lowpro and TTC lowpro.
- Brass stand-offs included in case regular switches is the consideration
- Poron Case foam is included
- Poron PCB foam is included
- A new ‘Taro’ color Ceramic coating has joined R2 GB
