Hello everyone. I’m Nguyen Hieu Truong, the admin of
VNMK - the largest mechanical keyboard community in Vietnam.
Today, I present you with the VN66 Raffle, a keyboard that
represents our Vietnamese community.
There are only 17
units available for this keyboard, 12 have been sold as a
raffle exclusively to the Vietnamese Mechanical Keyboard
(VNMK) community. And now, the 5 remaining boards will be
run as a raffle for international Geekhack users.

Design:
This keyboard is heavily inspired by Apple M0110
keyboard as it was manufactured during the late 80s which
coincide with when most of our community members were born.
We strived to create a modern rendition of a classic design,
with liberal use of angle and curve to create a clean and
sleek look for a keyboard with large bezel. Furthermore, we
applied Fibonacci sequence to the aspect ratio, resulting in
a design that will age very well.

November 9th Update: Group buy for the wrist rest is now running, ends on November 15th.
The wrist rest of the VN66 is now ready for the group buy. You can get this in either white, black, dark blue or natural wood. For the colored versions, there are 3 kinds of textures to choose. You also get to order to print text or logo on the rest, so please enter the content along with details about the position, size and font of what you want to be printed.
Along with the wrist rest, you can also purchase a kick stand to display the VN66 or any other keyboard that you desire.

November 14th Update: The raffle for the exclusive Carpagon artisans is going to open on Saturday, November 16th, 1:00 PM GMT. The form will be sent to the 17 winners in private via email, and the raffle will close in 30 minutes from opening time. I hope that the Geekhack winners will be ready together with the ones from VNMK.
January 10th Update: Due to the manufacturing facility having to go through the quality checking procedures from the government, along with the Tet Holiday, production will be delayed until late January. Everything will be back on track again afterwards, and the VN66 will be delivered (approximately) at the end of February. The wrist rest will go along with the keyboard in the package.
February 22nd Update: Production of the VN66 and the wrist rest had to be delayed due to the Covid-19 epidemic. The board and rest combo are expected to be delivered in mid April (may be stretched to early May). To make up for this incident, we will upgrade the plate from aluminum to brass for everybody, free of charge.
April 16th Update: Delivery of the products will be scheduled to June, due to the extension of the Covid-19 epidemic.
June 2nd Update: Production is back online, and updates about the VN66, along with the wrist rest, will come in the next 2-3 weeks, at which time the products are expected to reach the QC and packacking stages. Delivery of the boards and the rest will be delivered at the end of June, provided that everything goes well.
Sep 3rd Update: Production of the boards have been completed, and the products are in the QC and packaging processes. Expected delivery time: End of September.
