EDIT: These are now fully sold out. Apologies if you didn’t

spreadsheet again tonight (15th), and again on the 17th,
18th, 19th, and 20th.

The Satisfaction 75 is a 75% keyboard featuring a
rotary encoder (knob), and an OLED screen. The design was
inspired by Pirate Captain Henry Morgan’s flagship vessel
the “Satisfaction”. The curve in the back of the case is
supposed to be reminiscent of a pirate ship.
The keyboard has all of the following features:
OLED
Screen
Real time clock
Rotary encoder with really
nice knobs
VIA Configurator Support and Powered by
QMK
STM32 ARM Microprocessor
South facing
backlight LEDs (single color)
“Burger” o-ring top mount
plate
6 degree slope
Aluminum Top and Bottom,
Brass plate, Brass weight
Right side USB-C
Weights
1.7 kg / 3.75 lbs without switches, PCB, keycaps, or knob
Dimensions:
327mm x 136mm x 40mm (with default knob and cherry
keycaps)
Two plates will be offered, Standard and
WKL.
Standard KLE WKL KLE
The PCB supports ISO, but plates will not be offered
in ISO. DXF files for plates will be made available once the
purchasing period ends. The PCB will be a blue color.
PCB Layout Support
The bottom weight has some engraved artwork.
The saber will move to the right to be close to the
treasure chest in production. This will make the weight look
cleaner.
Blank weights are available as extras.
Every
kit comes with a top, bottom, sandblasted brass plate, and
sandblasted and engraved weight. Additionally, a PCB, an
OLED screen (white or blue), rotary encoder, and knob will
also be provided.
Each Satisfaction75 will also come
with a neoprene carrying sleeve.
The brass is raw
brass, its not sealed, and as such, it can patina. You can
use brasso every so often to clean off the developing
patina. But this should look really good with a nice
patina.
After the group buy period ends, I will release
plate DXF files to the public.
Pricing for this group
buy will start at a base price of $399.99. I wanted to aim
for lower, but the factory I ended up going with is one of
the pricier ones. In return for the added expense, they meet
my quality bar.
The following colors are available:
Deep
Ocean Blue (Navy Blue - Pantone 2767C)
Cloud White
(E-white - Extra $20 Charge)
Stormy Gray (Dark Gray -
RAL 7021)
Pirate Black (Anodized Black)
Color
examples and renders:
Original Prototype, Pirate Black. NOTE: DESIGN NOT
ACCURATE TO PRODUCTION.
Cloud White w/ GMK Mizu (Render)
Stormy Grey w/ GMK Modern Dolch (Render)
Deep Ocean Blue w/ GMK Voyage (Render)
Deep Ocean Blue w/ GMK Calm Depths (Render)
Only
40 units of the Cloud White color will be made available.
COLOR
DISCLAIMER: The prototype is not quite Pantone 2767C. The
factory has not guaranteed being able to get a perfect
match, but they will get as close as possible. This also
applies for the RAL 7021 Dark Grey.
By default, the kit
comes with the following knob:
You can choose between silver, black, and gold.

The Pearloid Knob looks like this:
And fits best with high profile keycaps. It’s also
available in silver, black, and gold.
Unfortunately,
due to the CITES Conservation Treaty, I will not be offering
Mother of Pearl knobs. Since I can’t ship them outside the
US, it would add an extra layer of logistics I do not want
to handle.
Finally, I’ll also be offering a beautiful
RAMA knob to go with the Satisfaction 75, and should pair
nicely with Cherry profile keycaps. It’s a Brass knob with a
gold PVD finish.
There will be 200 slots for this group buy. I do not
expect to hit 200 units sold, and I hope that everyone who
wants one of these boards can get one, but 200 is the
absolute limit of what I can handle. I’m willing to QC and
fulfill so many units in an effort to prevent ridiculous
flipping as soon as the GB is over. Estimated time of
delivery is Late October. Shipping will be staggered, and
orders will be fulfilled in the order that they are
placed.
Shipping will be charged at time of purchase,
based on the rates I will have to pay to ship the items.
